New dates to be announced soon
Montreal- The much anticipated Canadian Carnage Tour, featuring hard rock behemoths Megadeth, Slayer and Testament has been postponed once again as Slayer’s bassist/vocalist Tom Araya is in need of back surgery.
This tour was initially scheduled to stop at the Moncton Coliseum Complex on February 22 and at the Halifax Metro Centre on February 23.
‘’ As unfortunate as this is for so many people – the Megadeth and Testament camps, GEG, and, of course, the fans – Tom’s health is the number one priority, and this has to happen’’ says Megadeth. While disappointed by the tour’s delay, Megadeth are concerned for Araya and wish him a speedy recovery.
Megadeth, Slayer and the promoters are working on rescheduling the Canadian Carnage Tour soon.
Anyone who has purchased a Canadian Carnage ticket can hold onto it until the new date is announced.
