Mooseheads call Halifax Metro Centre home for 5 more years

Halifax, NS - Trade Centre Limited (TCL) and the Halifax Mooseheads Hockey Club are pleased to announce they have signed a five-year lease agreement. The contract ensures the QMJHL team will continue to host its home games at the Halifax Metro Centre until 2015.  

“Our organization’s reputation is built on our major tenants and our ability to host events,” said Scott Ferguson, President and CEO of Trade Centre Limited. “The Mooseheads have been a cornerstone of our success and have contributed greatly to our community’s reputation as one of Canada’s top event destinations. Bobby Smith, majority owner of the Halifax Mooseheads, echoes the commitment to a strong partnership. “"I am extremely pleased that we are able to announce our new long-term agreement with Trade Centre Limited,” said Smith. “The partnership between our hockey club and TCL is an important part of our future success and we look forward to continue building on our mutually beneficial relationship.”
